Denzaburo Fujita was born in Hagi and after the Meiji Restoration he went to Osaka to organize Fujita & Company.He set up various enterprises such as construction, railway, spinning, electric power, and news paper industry as well as mining industry and the reclamation work of the bay of Kojima and he held a dominant position in the Business World.
Denzaburo had a deep knowledge of old works of art and above all, he had a discerning eye for tea implements.He not only made a collection of excellent works but also he himself had a fondness for tea ceremony
.Here in this exhibition, excellent articles representative of Japan such as handwritten works, tea implements and so forth including national important cultural property which Denzaburo collected are displayed all together.
